Car Insurance Land Rover (Car Insurance). Is my 97 subaru impreza brighton awd or fwd?Is my 97 subaru impreza brighton awd or fwd? I reccently found out subaru made fwd versions of their cars up to a certain point, but I'm wondering if because my car says "brighton" that it makes it awd? If I looked underneath for the (drive axel?) What am I looking for? Is it that box thing I see underneath trucks? Yes, the "Brighton" was essentially the package with the least powerful engine, but paired with an AWD drivetrain. A "base model" AWD, if you will. Back when AWD was still an option ;) look for axles going to the rear wheels.shafts with rubber boots on each end.if it has them its awd Auto parts : Multi-Purpose Repair Compound Acura 1995 . Land Rover . How to Clean Leather Spots on a Car SeatIt used to be that the interior of most vehicles was made from synthetic materials, while only the interior of the most expensive ones was made from leather. That isn't true nowadays. Many modest cars, vans and SUVs can come with a leather upgrade. Sometimes the whole interior is leather, while other times only parts of the interior are leather. Either way, owners need to keep all leather areas properly clean so they will last and be enjoyed for the vehicle's lifetime. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Shady spot Vacuum Water Sponge Soft cloths Leather cleaner Leather conditioner Cream of tartar Lemon juice Step by Step : 1 Determine what type of leather you have. Your interior leather will either be 100 percent natural leather or a leather coating with vinyl underneath. To determine this, check your owner's manual. If it does not specify, in an inconspicuous spot, place a couple drops of cold water and see if it bubbles on top or seeps into the leather. If it bubbles on top, it is just a leather coating. If it seeps into the leather, it is all-natural leather. Use this information to determine what kind of leather cleaner and conditioner you will need. 2 Park your car in the shade and vacuum your interior. Be sure to get all the nooks and crannies. 3 Use the appropriate leather cleaner. Apply some cleaner to an inconspicuous spot to test it before cleaning your entire interior leather. Spray the leather cleaner onto a clean sponge or a soft dry cloth. Rub the cleaner in circular motions onto your leather interior. Use another dry clean cloth to dry. Do one area of your car at a time. 4 Use cream of tartar and lemon juice for tough spots. Use equal parts of both and don't forget to test first in an inconspicuous spot. Apply it to your cloth and rub the stain away. 5 Use the appropriate leather conditioner. If you can, purchase conditioner with sunscreen to protect your leather from the sun. Again, test in an inconspicuous spot. Place some on a soft cloth and gently rub it circular motions on your entire leather interior. Let it dry for at least an hour before using your vehicle. Tips & Warnings Always follow manufacture directions. To quickly clean the leather spots in your vehicle, you can purchase leather wipes for cars that will clean and condition at the same time.
Land Rover . How to Clean Ink Off of Leather Car SeatsLeather seats lend a lavish look to cars' interior. But leather is a durable yet highly temperamental material that requires special care and treatment to ensure that it lasts. An ink stain on a leather seat is no reason to panic; as irritating as it can be, it's an easy fix. With a little time and know-how ink stains can be lifted from the seat and the leathers' natural asthetics can easily be restored. Difficulty:Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Soft clean dry cloth Isopropyl alcohol Cotton ball Step by Step : 1 Wipe the area with a soft clean dry cloth to remove any dust or dirt. 2 Pour a small amount of isopropyl alcohol onto a cotton ball. 3 Dab the cotton ball gently on the stained area. 4 Allow the alcohol to sit on the ink for at least 10 minutes. 5 Wipe the area clean with a soft clean dry cloth. 6 If this does not fully remove the ink stain, repeat the steps. Tips & Warnings WD-40 and hairspray have also proven effective in the removal of ink stains on leather. Test the alcohol on an indiscreet area of the leather before using it to lift the stain.
